Top quality window cleaning and screen cleaning in Winchester Virginia

Today's project was for interior and exterior window washing, screen washing, and track cleaning on a beautiful home in Winchester, Virginia. On every project we do, we start by making contact with the customer and giving them a rundown of our game plan and a quick breakdown of our process. We then offer to have them join us during our pre-job survey. This allows the customer to point out any specific points of concern or where they would like extra attention paid. During our 31-point pre-job inspection, we only found some minor issues, which we documented with pictures and sent to our customer in a PDF. Once we discussed what we had found with the customer, we moved forward with the cleaning. We remove all the screens and bring them outside to be cleaned. We use an Xero Screen Cleaner to clean screens, which allows us to scrub the frame and the screen thoroughly. Once the screens are washed, we set them off to the side to dry. After we finish with the screens, the two-person team splits up to tackle the exterior and interior simultaneously, saving us time and our customers. The outside technician starts by hooking up out water fed pole (a purified De ionized spot free window cleaning system) to the customers out door spigot. Once that is done they roll out the pole hose and verify the TDS (total resolved solids) coming out of the system to make sure it is functioning properly. They are now ready to start washing the windows. We always start on the upper window and then any windows below on the corner of the house and work our way around the house so we don't miss anything. The exterior of the windows are cleaned by scrubbing down the outer frame do the window first and then any middle dividing sections. This not only removes dirt and grime from the frame but also oxidation which can leak down onto the windows leaving behind uggly white steaks and spots. Once the frame is scrubbed we move on the glass. We scrub up and down with overlapping passes over the glass. This allows the boars hair brush and the purified water to work together to clean the glass and break down and particulates which are bonded to the glass. We then move on to rinsing the frame and then the glass. While rinsing we allow the water to sheet down the window slowly moving from left to right across the window. This allows us to verify their isn't anything we have missed on the glass which usually shows up by a split in the water on the glass showing a point where a particulate or some dirt of some kind is still on the glass and needs another scrub and then another rinse. Once the window is rinsing properly we move on to the next window. While the outside man is working the inside man is following the same path inside. This serves 2 purposes. One it helps the technicians work together to make sure no windows are missed and 2 the inside man can sometimes see dirt or spots which need some extra scrubbing or rinsing that the outside man can not. The inside man starts by spraying both the top and the bottom of the window with our cleaning solution which is both a cleaner and a degreaser. This mix allows us to not only clean the glass but to sterilize it as well. They then scrub each section of the window and squeegee off the solution and detail (wipe down with a micro fiber clothe) the top sides and bottom of each section of each window followed by a wipe down of the window sill. Once all the windows have bin cleaned and double checked we go outside gather the screens and bring them inside and stage them in the areas they are to be replaced. As we go through and open the windows to replace the screens we go through and clean out the tracks with our cleaning solution and a scrub brush. Once we have broken down the built up dirt and grime and gotten the excess out we wipe the track clean with a micro fiber towel leaving it looking like new. We then replace the screen and close the window and lock it. At this point we do one final double check and walk through with the customer.
